Neat Pad Configuration Guide

Steps required and provide further guidance in regard to setting up RICOH Room Display on a Neat Pad

1 – Turn on the device

Connect your Neat Pad to power via PoE. It will turn on automatically. Once powered up, you are greeted with the ‘Welcome!’ screen and prompted to select your preferred language. Once done, click ‘continue’

2 – Internet Connection

As your Neat Pad is connected via PoE, it will recognise that it is connected to the internet. You can view the ‘Network Settings’ at your discretion and then click ‘continue’.

The Neat Pad will check for any updates and then give the below screen;

Click ‘Continue’.

3 - Date & time

It will then ask you to confirm the date and time, which it should automatically pick up the correct time zone, and then click ‘continue’.

4 - Choose setup

From here you are given 3 options to setup the Neat Pad, choose one that is your preference then continue;

5 - Neat Pulse (optional)

If you would like to have remote access of your Neat Pad, this can be done by Neat Pulse, using a code generated from https://pulse.neat.no

Once entered an enrollment code,and named the device, it will complete enrollment.

6 - Complete enrollment

Select Analytics and Improvements off or on and then choose a platform

Choose ‘Other’.

Then you will be prompted to toggle on ‘RICOH Room Display’ and ‘continue’.

Finally you will get the message ‘You're all set’ and then ‘Launch Neat Apps’.

7 - Open the RICOH Room Display application for Meeting Rooms

If you have purchased your Neat Pad device from Ricoh, it will come pre-installed with the RICOH Room Display application. When opening the RICOH Room Display app for the first time, the configuration screen will open.
