1 – You will need to turn on your device
You will need to connect your panel to power via PoE (or a power adaptor) and it will then turn on automatically. If you are using a BXP-320 Box PC you will need to connect the supplied power adapter.
Once powered up, your device will show the configuration page as per below:
2 – Let’s get started
You would then need to check/amend various settings on the panel when setting it up for the first time, see below.
Date & time
Click on Settings, then navigate to Date & Time.
We recommend changing the time zone to match your own by selecting “Time zone” and finding the correct one in the list.
Once that is done, please enable “Use network-provided time”

Language
Change the language to the local language of the office, if necessary. This can also be accessed via the system settings.
3 – Internet connection
It is assumed that your device is connected to the Internet via the PoE cable. However, you may wish to connect it via WiFi
You will need to navigate to Settings, then Network & Internet. Once here, select WiFi and select the desired network, fill in the credentials to connect to the internet.
4 – Check remote management software
If you have purchased your Qbic device from RICOH. It should come pre-installed with our remote management software. You can verify this by searching for “Viso”. If they are not installed, please refer to the article here, which will explain how to download and install the applications. Please note that remote management is not offered on devices purchased by other suppliers.
5 – Open the RICOH Smart Displays application for Visitor Display and Interactive Wayfinder
If you have purchased your Qbic device from Ricoh, it will come pre-installed with our RICOH Smart Displays application. If you purchased your device from another supplier, please refer to the article here, which will explain how to download and install the application.
When you open the RICOH Smart Displays app, you should be presented with this screen:
Follow the guide here to pair your Visitor Panel with our RICOH Smart Display application.

Display application.
5.2 - Open the RICOH Room Display application for Meeting Rooms
If you have purchased your Qbic device from Ricoh, it will come pre-installed with our RICOH Room Display application. If you purchased your device from another supplier, please refer to the article here, which will explain how to download and install the application.
When you open the RICOH Room Display app, you should be presented with this screen:
