This article will talk you through the steps required and provide further guidance in regard to setting up RICOH Smart Displays on a Logitech Tap Scheduler panel. .

1 – You will need to turn on your panel

You will need to connect your panel via ethernet cable to a POE switch or a POE injector, you will then need to turn the panel on via the power button which is located at the back of the device, see below:

Please see the below article which will be able to assist further if required.

2 – Let’s get started

Once the panel is powered on you will initially see the Logitech logo loading screen. It will then load up the page showing “Let’s get started” as per below:

Here you will need to do the following:

1. Select country

2. Select time zone

3. Select language

Once that is done, you will need to click on the purple right arrow and then it will navigate to a page providing the Logitech end user licence agreement, please read through this and click on agree:

3 -You will then need to set up your internet connection

Once you have clicked on agree on the end user licence agreement, it will then navigate to the Network configuration page as per below:

Note: This section will be skipped automatically if you are connected to a wired network, as it will pick up your network automatically.

For Wifi, you will need to select on the WiFi tab and select your network and input your password and select apply changes. Once this is done, your Logitech Tap Scheduler will then be connected to your network.

After this you may receive prompts to update your CollabOS, which is the operating system for your Logitech Tap Scheduler, please follow the steps and update accordingly.

4 - You will then need to select the provider (RICOH Smart Displays)

Once that is complete, you will then be navigated to the screen “Select your service provider”.

You would then need to do the following:

5 – Open RICOH Smart Displays application

When you open the RICOH Smart Displays app you should be presented with this screen:

6 - Pairing your Smart Display with RICOH Spaces

Follow the guide here in order to pair your panel with our RICOH Spaces application.
