In this article, we will go through the different options you have to hide your name on space bookings.
What is "Hide My Name"?
Previously, by default, all users could see other user's bookings from the Floorplan. When you hover over a desk, parking or locker, the name of the person who booked it would appear. In order to empower users, we are now bringing this new setting: Hide My Name.
How to set it up
Head to your profile.
Head to the Preferences section.
Navigate to the "Hide My Name On Space Bookings".
From the drop-down menu, select one option:
Show for everyone: All users can see your name on space bookings.
Show only for my Loop: People in your loop will be able to see your space bookings, but not the people you don't have in your Loop but who have you in theirs.
Hide for everyone: No users will see your name on your bookings.
Note: Please, note that your organisation might have already put a policy in place (Visibility for all, visibility only for admin users, visibility according to user's preference, or zero visibility for all). Should the settings be anything different than visibility according to user preferences, your settings will be overridden. Please contact your admin for more information.
Note: The policy is set on a location basis, so if your location is set to "user preferences", your settings will be applied. if you are going to another location with a different policy set, your preference may be overridden.
