On Tuesday 19th July 2022 at 15:34 (GMT+1) the RICOH Spaces team detected an issue with RICOH Spaces, where the Web and Mobile applications were not functioning as expected.

An investigation began immediately to which we found an issue with the Google Cloud Platform. A support request was raised with the Google Support team.

At 16:29 Google Support confirmed there was a widespread outage affecting applications hosted within the London Data Centre but weren’t able to identify the cause of the issue.

At 23:00 Google confirmed that the issue was caused by a cooling-related failure in one of their buildings which hosts part of the RICOH Spaces Platform. The cooling system had been restored and RICOH Spaces began functioning as expected.
