In this article, we will outline the network configuration necessary to pair a Zebra printer successfully.
We recommend using a Static IP address; otherwise, manual intervention will be required whenever the printer is powered on.
Configuration Steps
1. Open the Wizards section on the printer display.
2. Go to Connections and select Start Connection.
3. Follow these steps:
Select:
Wi-Fi
Keep Default Ports
Default Wired IP Protocol: All
Wi-Fi Country Code: Europe
Wi-Fi Security: WPA PSK
Pre-shared Key: Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Wi-Fi Band: All
Wi-Fi ESSID: Enter the Wi-Fi name (case sensitive).
Default Wi-Fi Protocol: All
Note: Skip the Bluetooth steps if you are only using printing labels from the panel. Should you wish to print labels from the RICOH Spaces Web, configure the settings for Bluetooth connection.
Select End Wizard
Assign a Static IP Address
Select Home > Go to Menu > Connection Icon > Wi-Fi.
Change Wi-Fi IP Protocol to Permanent and select the back arrow.
Update the Wi-Fi IP Address so the host portion is different (e.g., x.x.x.250).
If any numbers are greyed out, manually enter them so all numbers appear white on the display.
Press the tick icon to save.
Restart the Device
Hold the power button to power off the device.
Press the power button again to power it back on.
Verify the IP Address
Select Printer Info.
Confirm that the IP Address matches the one that has been set in the previous steps (x.x.x.250).
Now that your Zebra printer is on the network, next you need to configure the label settings on the web and/or the visitor displays
