In this article, we will show you how to put your Qbic devices into KIOSK mode.
Set-Up
Ensure that the latest version of Smart Displays for Qbic is installed
Set the correct date and time (Use network-provided time if the network provides the correct date and time)
Set the correct language including location (e.g. “English (United Kingdom)” or “English (Singapore)”.This is most important if the panel is being used for Visitor Management as it will also set the correct dialling code
To enable KIOSK Mode:
Head to Settings and select Player Settings
Disable "Switch to native Android mode"
Enable Fullscreen
In the KIOSK parameter, configure "Launched activity or webpage URL" to the Ricoh Smart Displays App
The Device should now launch into the Smart Displays app without visible onscreen buttons.
Accessing the Device
In order to exit full-screen mode locally you will need to restart the panel.
Once restarted press “Cancel Autoplay”
Select Settings
Select Player Settings
Fullscreen = Off
