Set Up
Ensure that “Splashtop Add-On:Qbic” is installed on the device and that you are able to remote onto the device.
Ensure that the latest version of Smart Displays for Qbic is installed.
Set the correct date and time (Use network-provided time if the network provides the correct date and time)
Set the correct language including location (e.g. “English (United Kingdom)” or “English (Singapore)”.This is most important if the panel is being used for Visitor Management as it will also set the correct dialling code.
In Schedule Reboot
In Player Settings:
Select Home
Either Wait 20 seconds or press “Cancel Autoplay” and then press “Play”
The Device should now launch into the Smart Displays app without the onscreen buttons visible.
Accessing the Device
Remotely
Remote onto the device using Splashtop
Press the circle button
Select Settings
Select Player Settings
Fullscreen = Off
Locally
In order to exit full screen mode locally you will need to restart the panel.
If the panel has a power button:
If the panel does not have a power button:
Once restarted press “Cancel Autoplay”
Select Settings
Select Player Settings
Fullscreen = Off
