in this article, we will show you how to install the RICOH Spaces Outlook add-ins for rooms and visitors. Once installed, you will be able to book meeting rooms and create visitors directly from your Outlook.

Note: If you cannot perform elements of this guide please contact your company IT team.

You can install the Outlook add-in manually with a process called side-loading if it is enabled for your organisation. If your organisation has added RICOH Spaces as an organisation app there is no requirement to follow the following steps. A full guide on the side-loading process can be found on Microsoft's support site.

Room Outlook Add-In

The Room Outlook add-in is used during the event booking process within the Outlook client for room bookings. This means you must go to your calendar page and then use the new event option.

The visitor outlook add-in is used on the inbox page.

Installing on Desktop

Tip: It's important to note that setup can vary depending on the version of Outlook you are using.

  1. Depending on your Outlook client you will see an option at the top of the screen, for most Windows users it will be the "Get Add-ins" button.

Mac users may need to use the "3 dots" menu labelled to see more items. Then click the "Get Add-ins" button.

Tip: If you don't see the Get Add-ins button in your version of Outlook, select: Store button on the ribbon, if available. OR File menu, then select the Manage Add-ins button on the Info tab to open the Add-ins dialog in Outlook on the web.

2. Head over to the My add-ins' section

3. Select Add a custom add-in

4. You can now add from URLs or Files.

Add by file (recommended)

For the room add-in: to download the file, please download this file to your machine and select it when requested. Download

For visitors add-in: download the file here

To download the file, right-click and select 'Save as'.

You can easily add them by adding the following URL into the box when requested in the above process.
