In this article, we will cover the network configuration for RICOH Smart Displays and Radix MDM. This ensures that you have the best experience.
RICOH Smart Displays Allowlist
RICOH Smart Displays communicate securely with RICOH Spaces cloud services using outbound HTTPS connections. Once a session is established, data flows both ways within that same encrypted channel. No inbound firewall rules or open ports are required.
Domain / Service | Port | Protocol | Direction | Purpose |
https://eu.api.ricohspaces.app | 443 | HTTPS | Outbound (stateful) | Main RICOH Spaces API access |
storage.googleapis.com | 443 | HTTPS | Outbound (stateful) | Cloud asset storage |
ricoh-smart-spaces.firebaseio.com | 443 | HTTPS | Outbound (stateful) | Firebase Realtime Configuration |
Radix MDM Allowlist
To allow the remote management of your panels through Radix, the following is recommended to be added to your network allowlist.
Domain / Service | Port | Protocol | Direction | Purpose |
*.glbth.com, *.visomdm.com, *.atvmanager.com | 443 | HTTPS | Outbound (stateful) | Radix Viso MDM communication |
mtalk.google.com | 5228–5230 | TCP | Outbound | Google FCM push notifications |
mdm-packages.s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com | 443 | HTTPS | Outbound | Radix package storage |
Visitor Management Printers
For printers used with Visitor Management, we identify devices through IP Addresses and MAC Addresses. For Port settings, Brother recommends: https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/52673/~/firewall-ports-needed-to-allow-network-communication-with-the-brother-machine
