This article will talk you through the steps required and provide further guidance in regard to setting up RICOH Smart Displays.

After this you may be prompted to update your CollabOS, which is the operating system for your Logitech Tap Scheduler, please follow the steps and update accordingly.

Selecting the provider (RICOH Smart Displays)

The panel will then display a new page asking you to 'Select your service provider'.

You would then need to do the following:

  • Select RICOH Smart Displays

Optional – You will then be asked to set up Logitech Sync, if you’d like to set this up please follow the instructions displayed on the screen and navigate to sign up. Or alternatively, you can skip this part. For more information about it, please head here.

  • Select the Next arrow to confirm the installation of RICOH Smart Displays.

  • Await for the installation to be completed.

  • Click on 'Continue to RICOH Spaces'.

  • Once you have opened the application, please follow the guide here to pair your panel with our RICOH Spaces application.

Once your panel is paired the process is complete and the application is automatically set up in kiosk mode. KIOSK mode is a feature which locks down the panel to only allow access to one application. Therefore, this does not allow end-users to access other apps on the device. They also cannot exit the app, making it a dedicated device for that specific app.

Note: Should you require to access your settings page, please see the article here which will be able to assist.
