Ricoh Access - Registering a new access badge

If your RFID Access card, fob or sticker has not been previously used or registered with RICOH Spaces you will be asked to pair it when you first present it to an Access Panel. This article talks you through that process.

Pre-requisites

All users will need to have an account in Ricoh Spaces. Your account will have been created either:

  1. The first time you logged into Ricoh Spaces, or

  2. In advance by an Administrator

Pairing A Badge

Present your card or fob to the access panel by placing it below the word Tap:

If the badge is not linked to a user account in RICOH Spaces you will be presented with this message:

Click on Pair and enter your email address in the box:

Once you click Continue you will receive a confirmation message:

Check your emails, you will receive an email entitled "RICOH Spaces Card Pairing Request" that looks similar to this:

Click on "Complete Pairing Request" and you will recieve confirmation that your badge has been paired with RICOH Spaces.

You can now use your card to check in to your desk or location.
