In this article, we will show you how to use an interactive Wayfinder!

What is a Wayfinder?

The RICOH Spaces Interactive Wayfinder is a functionality that takes your Maps to an Interactive Display.

How to use a Wayfinder?

As the name suggests, an Interactive Wayfinder enables you to interact with the map displayed. The Display will show your office Map as you see it on RICOH Spaces web or mobile.

Key Elements:

  • Occupancy Traffic light system:

    • Green spaces: Available

    • Red spaces: Booked

    • Orange spaces: If you have sensors, spaces unbooked but in use will display in orange

  • Point of Interest (POI):

    • See assets available in your office

  • Lists of:

    • People: People with a booking at that location

    • Desk: List of all desks

    • Meeting Rooms: List of all rooms

    • Zones: List of zones
      Parking: List of parking spaces

  • Filters:

    • Location

    • Floor

  • Navigation:

    • Click on a space or POI to open its page. By clicking on the direction arrow icon, you can navigate from it/ to it.

  • Map Tools:

    • Zoom in/out (using the left-side tools or pinching the map with two fingers)

    • Pitch (use 2 fingers to go up or down)

    • Orientation (use a finger to move around in all directions)

  • Booking spaces:

    • Click on a space to see its information page. You will be able to see its availability and book it from the screen.

    • To confirm your booking, you will have to identify yourself. This way your booking can appear in your calendar and within the platform. You can use your PIN, phone number or scan the QR code with your RICOH Spaces mobile app to confirm your booking.

Note: You can set your PIN and add your phone number within your profile section.
