The Catering and Equipment report provides you with key highlights related to catering and equipment. This guide will walk you through the key elements of the report.

Key elements of the report:

  • Understanding of catering and equipment items requested in the timeframe

  • Show the list of outstanding items and detail them

  • Ability to click through to the jobs list if needed. This will update the report to provide you with a focus on the data selected.

At the top of the report, you will see the available filters:

  • Request Due Date - Choose a predefined filter such as "Yesterday" or choose your custom start and end date.

  • Venue Group -

  • Name - Filter the data by selecting the name/s of the services.

  • Full Name - Filter the data by selecting the name/s of people that have requested services

  • Location Filter - You can add one or more locations and the report will provide all the data relating to your choice. This is a core filter and as such how all other filters act will depend on the selection here.

  • Cost Centre - Filter the data by cost.

  • Space Name - Select one or multiple space/s by their names from the dropdown list.

Note: Whenever you change the filters you must click on the reload icon at the top right of the report to refresh.

Key Metrics of the Services Report

  • Total Catering Jobs Approved

This metric represents the overall number of catering jobs that have been approved within the specified filters. It provides an aggregate view of the total catering service requests that have received approval.

  • Total Equipment Jobs Approved

Similar to Total Catering Jobs Approved, this metric reflects the total number of equipment-related service requests that have been approved. It gives an overview of the overall approval count for equipment jobs based on the selected filters.

  • Average Cost per Catering Request

This metric calculates the average cost incurred for each approved catering request. It provides insights into the average financial impact of catering services, helping to assess cost efficiency and budgeting.

  • Total Catering Cost

Total Catering Cost is the sum of all costs associated with approved catering jobs. It gives a comprehensive view of the overall financial expenditure related to catering services.

  • Total Jobs By Day of The Week

This metric categorizes and counts the total number of approved service requests based on the day of the week. It helps identify trends or patterns in service requests over different days.

  • Service Costs by Cost Centre

Service Costs by Cost Centre breaks down the total costs based on different cost centres. It provides a detailed understanding of how costs are distributed across various organizational units or departments.

  • Total vs Average Cost by Day of the Week

This comparison metric evaluates the total cost against the average cost for service requests on each day of the week. It helps identify outliers or anomalies in costs on specific days.

  • Most Popular Item

This metric identifies the item or service that has the highest number of requests. It helps in understanding the preferences or demands of users, contributing to better resource allocation.

  • Catering Cost Trends

Catering Cost Trends provide an analysis of how catering costs have been changing over time. It can be presented as a graphical representation, allowing for the identification of cost patterns or fluctuations.

  • Request Summary

The Request Summary offers a concise overview of the key metrics, providing a quick reference for decision-makers to understand the overall status of service requests.

  • Job Items List

The Job Items List presents a detailed breakdown of all items or services included in the approved jobs. It serves as a reference for understanding the specifics of each service request.
