Using your feedback, We have completely revamped the RICOH Spaces Insight tab to provide you with a handy panel of graphs and tables. The environmental report captures the IoT data related to the environmental conditions of your office.

At the top of the report, you will see the available filters:

  • Date - Choose a predefined filter such as "last 90 days" or choose your custom start and end date

  • Location Filter - You can add one or more locations and the report will provide all the data relating to your choice. This is a core filter and as such how all other filters act will depend on the selection here. For example, the "Floor Filter" will only show the floors available for the Locations you have chosen, not all

  • Zone Name - Filter by one or more zones in a location

  • Space Name- Select a specific space/s

Building Summary

  • Temperature

This metric captures the average temperature for the location/s you have selected. The temperature is compared with the previous period, and the difference between the two is provided as a percentage.

  • CO2

This metric provides you with the CO2 level for your selected location/s. This related to the ventilation of your office. For an office, the ideal CO2 level should be at or under 800. The metric is also compared to the previous period. In this example, we can see there has been an increase in CO2.

  • Humidity

This percentage represents your office humidity. A percentage between 40% to 60% is ideal. In this example, we can see our level of humidity is between the norm. The metric is compared to the previous period.

  • Light

The light metric relates to the luminosity level of your location/s. The light is measured in Lux. Usually, offices will have light levels between 500 and 1000 lux depending on the activity.

  • Sound

The sound metric provides you with an idea of how loud is the ambient sound. The unit is decibels. Usually, a quiet office will be around 50 decibels, any values above 87 decibels are to be avoided.

  • Airborne Index

The Airborne index tracks the saturation of Carbon Dioxide in your indoor air. The higher the CO2 levels, the higher the chances of virus transmission. Low-risk CO2 levels are below 800ppm, mid-risk levels are CO2 levels between 800-1250ppm and high-risk are CO2 levels of 1250ppm+. In the example, we can see that the majority of the data is within the low-risk range.

  • Comfort Index

The comfort index metric helps you keep track of how comfortable your spaces are for everyone inside. For example, if it’s really hot and humid, it can make the air feel stuffy and uncomfortable. By monitoring temperature and humidity, you ensure that your spaces are comfortable by keeping these factors at a good level.

  • Focus Index

We use CO2 as a measure of focus because high levels of CO2 can impact how well people can concentrate and be productive. Focussed CO2 levels are between 400ppm-1000ppm. Unfocussed CO2 levels are above 1000 ppm.

Temperature Overview

  • Temperature Trends

This graph displays the temperature data for your selected date range. It provides you with a clear view of its change and also indicates in which category of temperature your data falls. In this case, the temperature registered fell within the healthy range.

  • Minimum Temperature

This metric is the minimum temperature registered during the select period. The metric is compared to the previous minimum temperature and presented as a percentage.

  • Maximum Temperature

This metric is the maximum temperature registered during the select period. The metric is compared to the previous maximum temperature and presented as a percentage.

  • Temperature Summary

This table displays the min, max and average temperature by time of the day.

CO2 Overview

  • CO2 Risk Overview

This graph displays the average CO2 of your selected spaces for the selected period. You can see in this example that there are some peaks in CO2.

  • Minimum CO2

This metric is the minimum CO2 registered during the select period. The metric is compared to the previous minimum CO2 level registered and presented as a percentage.

  • Maximum CO2

This metric is the maximum CO2 registered during the select period. The metric is compared to the previous maximum CO2 level registered and presented as a percentage.

  • CO2 Summary

This table displays the min, max and average levels of CO2 by time of the day.

Humidity Overview

  • Humidity Trends

This graph displays the humidity data for your selected date range. It provides you with a clear view of its change and also indicates in which category of humidity your data falls. In this case, the humidity registered fell within the healthy range.

This metric is the minimum humidity registered during the select period. The metric is compared to the previous minimum humidity level registered and presented as a percentage.

  • Maximum Humidity

This metric is the maximum humidity registered during the select period. The metric is compared to the previous maximum humidity level registered and presented as a percentage.

This table displays the min, max and average levels of humidity by the time of the day.
