After creating layouts ( check out how to create a layout here), you can add them to rooms. This way, users have the option to select a different layout during the room booking process. In this article, we will show you how to add layouts to rooms.

Note: Giving users the possibility to select different layouts means that you have a dedicated person in charge of physically setting up the layouts.

Adding layouts to rooms

1. Navigate to your Organisation Settings tab.

2. Select the location where you want to add layouts to rooms.

3. Head to the Spaces section and filter by type to only show Spaces and Linked Spaces.

  • Reset Time (mins)

7. Click on Add Layout and then hit Save.

Approve layout requests

Note: In order to approve a layout request, the person needs one of the following roles: Global admin, Location admin, and Facilities admin.

Ensure there is enough time to set up the room before your meeting otherwise you won't be able to process your meeting booking.

All layouts requests go to the Jobs section where admins can approve or reject requests. Once a decision has been made, you will receive an email with its outcome confirming or cancelling your meeting.
