If you purchase your QBIC Panel from RICOH, this will come pre-installed with our RICOH Room Display application.
Using an iPad as a Smart Display
If you are using an iPad for your Room Display, you will need to install the RICOH Room Displays by downloading the app from the Apple App Store.
If your RICOH Smart Display was not supplied by RICOH
There are two ways to install the RICOH Room Displays: either by downloading the app from the App Store or, for supported Android devices, by installing it from a USB drive.
Installing the RICOH Smart Display software from a USB Drive
In order to install the Room Displays application via USB, you will need to download the software initially. This article will explain how you would do this.
You will need to download the latest Room Displays version from here.
Once downloaded, please transfer this to your USB drive.
You will then need to connect your USB drive to your Room Display panel USB port, which will be located at the back of the panel.Once your USB drive is connected, please go to the “Files” application on your panel and select your USB drive.
Then, you will need to click on your RICOH Room Displays software and follow the steps to complete the installation.Once the installation is complete, it will show an application called “RICOH Room Displays”
