Below are migration’s room panels steps and the screens users will see post-migration.
Before & during the migration
All room panels will have to be updated as part of the transfer to the new platform.
Our internal team will monitor, manage and configure the rollout of new software.
The RICOH Spaces team are responsible for completing the software upgrade on your Room Panels, however, we ask that you ensure that all panels are all online ahead of your migration day.
After the migration
Following the deployment, all screens will necessitate a new connection process.
Ricoh-managed devices shall have their Smart Displays application installed by their Ricoh-managed service team.
Step-by-step guides are available to help you with the pairing process of panels. Administrators can easily carry out this task and once configured, panels can be used as usual. The room bookings for the day will synchronise and be displayed on the correct panels.
