In this article, we will show you how to create a service item. Service items are items that admins create and that can be added to room bookings. This can be food, beverages, headphones, etc.

How to create a catalogue item

Note: In order to create service items you need to be a global, location or facilities admin.

1. Head to the Organisation Settings tab.

2. Select the location where you want to create an item and navigate to the Item Catalogue section.

6. In order for users to be able to select the item during their room booking, the item needs to be assigned one or multiple rooms. This can be set in the Available Spaces section on the left side menu.

Use the search bar to find the relevant room/s.

Managing items

Once an item is created you can easily edit, delete or deactivate it.

  • Activated: You can enable or disable items easily using the Activated toggle. While deleting an item removes it completely from the catalogue, the deactivation of an item hides it from the list of items available to request during the room booking process.

  • Edit: Clicking on the Edit button of an item takes you to its detail page where you can update information about it.

  • Bin icon: Clicking on the bin icon of an item deletes the item from the catalogue.
