Discover the power of the IOT Wasted Space report! It effortlessly gathers data from your IoT sensors and presents it in a user-friendly view. This guide will navigate you through the essential information found in this report.

Key elements of the IOT Wasted Space Report:

  • View multiple locations at once

  • Custom date range

  • Key information displayed at the top of your report

  • Comprehensive selected charts providing key information

At the top of the report, you will see the available filters:

  • Date - Choose a predefined filter such as "last 7 days" or choose your custom start and end date.

  • Day of the week - Choose which days to include/ exclude or select "matches" for advanced options.

  • Location Filter - You can add one or more locations and the report will provide all the data relating to your choice. This is a core filter and as such how all other filters act will depend on the selection here.

  • Floor name - Choose which floors to include/exclude or select with the help of advanced filters.

  • Space Name - Choose the spaces to include by selecting their names from the dropdown list.

  • Space type - Select the type of spaces you want to include/exclude from your report.

  • Zone Name - Filter by zones.

Please note that whenever you change the filters you must select "Update" for the report to refresh.

Key Metrics of the IOT Wasted Space Report

  • Average Utilisation

Taking into consideration the time your spaces are available, how much of that time is used, displayed as a percentage.

  • Peak Utilisation

At its peak, how much of your selected space was used, shown as a percentage.

In this example, the maximum utilisation for that period was 25%, that's the maximum recorded for that selected period.

  • Average Hours Utilised

On average, how much time (in hours) of your space available time is used?

This takes into account all of your spaces, and the time they are available, how much of that time has been used. In this example, on average, a space is occupied for 3 hours.

  • Utilisation Trends By Date

Graph showing utilisation (in percentage) for every day of your selected period.

  • Floors - Hours Utilised vs Available Hours

Clear visualisation of your floor utilisation thanks to a comparison of your floor available time (hours) and the time utilised.

  • Utilisation by Weekday

Graph displaying the peak and average utilisation by days of the week (in percentage).

In this example, we can see Thursday registered the highest utilisation and that weekends are the lowest average utilisation.

  • Spaces - Hours Utilised vs Available Hours

Top 10 of the most used spaces. This is at a space level compared with other Floors.

  • Space Utilisation %

Breakdown of all your spaces. In this table, you can find all space names, their location, zones, Floor names and utilisation (in percentage). You can sort, freeze columns and copy values.

  • Max Attendance vs Average Attendance

This graph works with sensors to present you with in-depth insights of your attendance. In this graph, you can compare space capacity max attendance and average attendance.

For example, the maximum attendance recorded for 20B Breakthrough is 19 and the average is 9. This means that on average, the room had 9 attendees. Thanks to the IoT technology, we captured that at its peak there were 19 attendees in this room.

  • IOT booking fit

Based on IoT, this graph presents you with booking fit insights. The dot sizes represent the count of meetings. The different dots give you information about the usage of your space's capacity. Is the booking fit too large, small or ideal?

In this example, we can see that space 20G Growth had most of its booking using the space at its ideal capacity. On the contrary, 20A Achievement had most of its booking not using the space's capacity at its max.
