How to get started with a Wayfinding Smart Display

RICOH Spaces allows you to figure nearly any screen as a Smart Display.

You can do this using our Android App or through a Web Browser.

Step 1

Open the app or website (https://displays.ricohspaces.app) on the device you'd like to pair, you'll see a screen like this one. Note the 6 digit No. 

Step 2

Open the RICOH Spaces web application and Navigate from the Homepage to the down arrow icon, and view ‘More’ options. From this box select ‘Screens’.  

Go to the ‘Add screen’ button, enter the pairing code (6 Digit No from above) and provide a Title and Description for the display in the box provided.

Click ‘Add Screen’ to save..

Step 3

Choose what you want on the screen, for Web Browser screens we're limited to Wayfinding but for Android screens, we can connect anything. For this screen, we'll choose the ‘Wayfinding’ option.

As a Wayfinding Panel, you have the Option to confirm if this is a ‘Display Touch enabled’ device, and how booking types can be managed. I.e. Through a PIN code or a QR Code.

Enter the data for the fields and click ‘Save’.

Step 4

Your screen is now configured. We can see our wayfinding display on the original screen and this will remain every time the page is loaded.
