Setting up a Visitor screen connection type.

Pre-requisites 

• Locations, Floors and Spaces are all configured and set up.
• You have Downloaded the APK file to your Physical Hardware Panel and installed it.

Note: If the Hardware Panel is provided by RICOH Spaces, the item will have been pre-configured. 

Step 1

Open the Ricoh app on the device you'd like to pair, you'll see a screen like this one. Take a note of the 6 Digit Number number being displayed. 

Now using the RICOH Web App, Navigate to the Down arrow Icon and select More, from the options available, and then select Screens.

Once you are at the Screen Connection page, click on the Add Screen button.

Step 2

Enter the pairing code (from Step 1) into the screen and give your screen a Title name.  Once details are correct and complete click Add Screen.

Note: If applying a Visitor Display in the Lobby then perhaps it is best to give the Title name as the Location of the Display. The Visitor display has now been added to the system. I.e. Lobby Ground Floor 54 Hagley Road.

You will be asked to confirm which type you require. In this case please Select Visitors.

The Screen will then return to the main Screen Connections page.

Step 3

Having set up the Visitor Screen, now select it by clicking on the Heading. This will open the Visitor Sign In Fields page.

This will allow you to configure through the Toggle Switches which functions you would like to enable during the Visitor Check-in Process and then Tick the ‘Make Required’ field to enable.

Any visitor to your location will then be asked to complete the Mandatory fields selected.

Step 4

You can also design how your Visitor Page will appear on the selected Panel.

From The screen Connections page, select the Screen you would like to manage, and click on Design.

From this page, you can now manage how the Display will be visible to Visitors.

This can include Welcome messages, Your Company Logo, and preferred background colour. A sample is provided below.

Your display is now ready to start receiving visitors.
