RICOH Spaces allows simple role management that allows you to set ‘who can see what’ within various elements of the platform.
From the Home page navigate via the Icons on the left-hand side, to the down arrow, where you will be prompted to view more.
From the expanded options list, select the ‘Roles’ Icon.
It's important to mention that roles are local unless specified otherwise. This means that whichever location you currently have selected is where the role will be set.
For the location you have set, the list of users with Local Roles is displayed along with the Active Roles assigned against each name. There are approx 19 roles to choose from.
Note: Multiple roles can be assigned by holding the Cntrl button on your keyboard.
To confirm your action, click on Update Roles.
If you have Location A selected and assign a local admin role to Rob, then Rob will be able to perform admin actions in Location A and no other location unless you also authorise these.
We have a couple of roles that do not apply locally, these will be stated clearly by role name and also within the global roles section of the screen. Only global administrators will see this role section.
