In this article, we will detail the room panel migration plan.
During the migration
All room panels will have to be updated as part of the transfer to the new platform.
During the migration, our internal team will monitor, manage and configure the rollout of new software.
After the migration
Following the deployment, all screens will necessitate a new connection process.
Our team will collaborate with the locations' administrators to seamlessly pair all screens.
The step-by-step guide below explains the pairing process of panels. Administrators can easily carry out this task and once configured, panels can be used as usual. The room bookings for the day will synchronise and be displayed on the correct panels.
Guide to configuring panels:
Note: You'll be required to be a screen admin or higher to access this functionality.
Using the RICOH Spaces web application, head to your Organisation Settings. Select the location within which you want to update the room panels.
Navigate to the Screens tab where all your screens for that location are displayed.
At the top right of your screen, you will be able to click and reveal your location code. Make a good note of it.
On your Room Panel, this is what you should see:
You may select a Region to begin. The region should match your use of RICOH Spaces mobile and web.

Enter the location code from the previous step and hit Next.
This will generate a pairing code that you'll need to enter on the web application.
On the web app, you will have to create a new screen using the Create Screen button. A window will appear.
Enter the Pairing Code displayed on your panel, in this example it would be '219082'.
Give it a title. We would recommend giving it a memorable title like the name of the meeting room.
Click Next and follow the instructions on the screen.
If the screen does not automatically update select the Settings (cog) icon on the screen and then select "refresh configuration".
